Do you build new stairs or only refinish?
Both. We build new straight, L-shaped, U-shaped, and curved stairs with open or closed stringers. We also refinish existing treads, risers, and stringers (strip, sand, stain or paint, poly).
What railing materials do you offer?
Wood (oak, maple, poplar), wrought iron, aluminum, cable systems, and glass. We install balusters, newel posts, and handrails to match your style and meet code.
Are handrails code-compliant?
Yes. We follow IRC for handrail height (34–38 in), nosing, and tread/riser dimensions so your stairs are safe and pass inspection.
Can you fix squeaky or loose stairs?
Yes. We repair squeaky treads, tighten loose balusters and newels, and secure wobbly handrails. We can replace individual treads or risers if damaged.
Do you install stair runners or carpet?
Yes. We install stair runners and full carpet on stairs, including pad and tack strip, with clean seams at landings.

Can you match my existing railing style?
Yes. We match wood species, profile, and stain or paint. For metal we can match design and color. If parts are discontinued, we find the closest match or upgrade the whole run.
Do you do spiral or curved stairs?
We build curved and winding stairs; true spirals are often sourced from specialty manufacturers and we install and finish to match. We’ll outline options in the estimate.
